Contact Lenses

Contact lenses are thin, curved lenses that are placed directly on the surface of the eye (the cornea) to correct vision, similar to eyeglasses. They can correct common refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism by adding or subtracting focusing power to the eye. Contact lenses can also be used for cosmetic purposes, to change eye color, or to treat certain eye conditions. They come in different materials, such as soft lenses and rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, and vary in wear schedules, from daily disposables to extended-wear lenses

Contact Lens Service

At Niagara Falls Eyecare our Contact Lens Service includes a comprehensive exam with one of our skilled Optometrists.  In this exam the Doctor will find your prescription and fit for your new lenses.  A brand recommendation will be made by the Doctor to help maintain your eye health.  You will leave the exam with a trial pair of lenses to try before an order for a larger quantity will be made.  Communication with our office staff will need to happen in order to let us know that everything is going as expected with your trial pair of lenses.
